Job summary

Power Bridge is seeking an Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centre operations, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and server infrastructure. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware virtualization, enterprise network gear, and ITIL‑based incident/change management.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in enterprise Data Center environments.
• Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Administer VMware virtualization environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtual machines.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including Layer 2/Layer 3 switches and routers.
• Administer and support enterprise firewalls, implementing security policies, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and access controls.
• Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively resolve performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Support server hardware, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management of infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with OEMs and third‑party vendors for hardware replacement and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to IT security standards, change management, and operational procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, asset inventory, and SOPs.
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure‑related incidents and service requests.
• Participate in planned maintenance activities and after‑hours support when required.
