Responsibilities

• Administer Nutanix and HPE SimpliVity virtualization infrastructure.
• Monitor server health, performance, capacity, availability, and resources.
• Provision and manage VMs, storage, clusters, upgrades, and configs.
• Manage Acronis Backup, including policies, schedules, retention, replication, restores.
• Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures to meet RPO/RTO.
• Administer Active Directory and GPOs, DNS, DHCP.
• Support Azure services and on-prem/cloud integration.
• Manage server security, patching, hardening, access controls, antivirus.
• Administer encryption and recovery-key compliance.
• Manage SCCM and PDQ Deploy for software distribution and patching.
• Support email security gateway and mail-flow troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain workflow automation with Power Automate.
• Handle bank SFTP integrations with monitoring and encryption.
• Monitor alerts; respond to incidents; maintain docs and SOPs.

We are seeking an experienced Server Administrator to manage and support our core virtualization, backup, automation, cloud, identity, and endpoint security platforms. The role is responsible for maintaining high availability, ensuring data protection, supporting compliance requirements, and integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong infrastructure administration background, hands-on experience with enterprise technologies, an automation-oriented mindset, and the ability to support internal and external audits.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Nutanix and HPE SimpliVity virtualization infrastructure.
  
• Monitor server health, performance, capacity, availability, and resource utilization.
  
• Provision and manage virtual machines, storage, clusters, upgrades, and infrastructure configurations.
  
• Manage Acronis Backup, including backup policies, schedules, retention, replication, recovery, and restore testing.
  
• Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures to ensure compliance with defined RPO and RTO requirements.
  
• Administer Active Directory, including users, groups, organizational units, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and access permissions.
  
• Support Microsoft Azure services and integration between Azure and on-premises environments.
  
• Manage server security, patching, hardening, access controls, antivirus, and vulnerability-remediation activities.
  
• Administer BitLocker encryption and maintain encryption and recovery-key compliance.
  
• Manage SCCM and PDQ Deploy for software distribution, patch management, inventory, and endpoint administration.
  
• Support and manage the organization’s email security gateway, including filtering policies and troubleshooting mail-flow issues.
  
• Develop and maintain workflow automation using Microsoft Power Automate.
  
• Manage and support secure bank SFTP integrations, including file-transfer monitoring, access control, encryption, and troubleshooting.
  
• Monitor infrastructure alerts and respond to server, backup, application, and security incidents.
  
• Maintain technical documentation, asset records, configuration details, SOPs, and disaster-recovery procedures.
  
• Participate in business continuity and disaster-recovery planning, testing, and reporting.
  
• Support internal and external audits by providing system evidence, access records, patching reports, backup reports, and compliance documentation.
  
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  
• Identify opportunities to automate routine administrative activities and improve operational efficiency.
  
• Provide support during planned maintenance, critical incidents, and infrastructure upgrades when required.
  

Required Technical Skill Set

• Strong administration experience with Windows Server environments.
  
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix and HPE SimpliVity.
  
• Experience managing Acronis Backup and performing system restoration.
  
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity administration.
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
  
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  
• Knowledge of secure SFTP integration, preferably involving banking or financial systems.
  
• Hands-on experience with SCCM and PDQ Deploy.
  
• Experience with email security gateways and email-flow troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of server hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, antivirus, and endpoint security.
  
• Understanding of backup concepts, disaster recovery, RPO, RTO, and business continuity.
  
• Experience supporting internal and external IT audits.
  
• Familiarity with IT compliance controls, evidence collection, access reviews, and change management.
  
• Working knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting tools will be an advantage.
