Qualifications

• Experience in managing data center operations and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with high availability, security, and performance of mission‑critical systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Administer VMware virtualization environments, including provisioning and monitoring VMs.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise networking, including Layer 2/3 switches and routers.
• Administer and support enterprise firewalls, implementing security policies and VPNs.
• Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise tools and resolve performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Support server hardware, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for hardware replacement and issue resolution.
• Ensure IT security standards, change management, and SOP adherence.
• Maintain network diagrams, asset inventory, and technical documentation.
• Participate in disaster recovery drills and business continuity activities.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and service requests.
• Participate in planned maintenance and after-hours support.

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centre operations, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and hands‑on experience in maintaining high availability, security, and performance of mission‑critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Administer VMware virtualization environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtual machines.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including Layer 2/Layer 3 switches and routers.
• Administer and support enterprise firewalls, implementing security policies, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and access controls.
• Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively resolve performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Support server hardware, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management of infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with OEMs and third-party vendors for hardware replacement and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to IT security standards, change management, and operational procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, asset inventory, and SOPs.
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
