Job summary

Power Bridge in Mumbai seeks an experienced Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer to manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centre operations, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and server systems. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance and collaborate with OEMs to resolve hardware issues.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in VMware, routing, switching, backups, and DR readiness, with ITIL familiarity and the ability to work in rotational shifts

Qualifications

• Experience in managing Data Center infrastructure with high availability.
• VMware virtualization experience: provisioning, configuration, monitoring, maintenance.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure incl. Layer 2/3 switches and routers.
• Administer and support enterprise firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and access controls.
• Monitor infrastructure health with monitoring tools and resolve issues.
• Perform RCA for incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Support server hardware, storage, and backup infra.
• Coordinate with OEMs/third-party vendors for hardware replacement.
• Follow IT security standards, change management and SOPs.
• Maintain network diagrams, asset inventory and DR readiness.

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer with retail industry experience to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centre operations, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and hands‑on experience in maintaining high availability, security, and performance of mission‑critical IT systems.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Administer VMware virtualization environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtual machines.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including Layer 2/Layer 3 switches and routers.
• Administer and support enterprise firewalls, implementing security policies, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and access controls.
• Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively resolve performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Support server hardware, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management of infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with OEMs and third‑party vendors for hardware replacement and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to IT security standards, change management, and operational procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, asset inventory, and SOPs.
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure‑related incidents and service requests.
• Participate in planned maintenance activities and after‑hours support when required.
