About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud infrastructure design, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS environments, automate deployments, and improve system reliability across multi-environment setups (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, ECS, and Auto Scaling
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation across multiple environments
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, and Bitbucket to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes (EKS), and ECS for microservices deployments
• Configure and manage AWS ECR for container image storage and automated image push/deployment workflows
• Design and deploy serverless architectures using Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB to reduce operational overhead
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to proactively detect and resolve issues, reducing MTTR
• Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM least-privilege policies, KMS encryption, RBAC, and Guard Duty threat detection
• Optimize cloud costs through Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and right-sizing/Auto Scaling strategies
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and high availability
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, backup, and disaster recovery for hybrid infrastructure
• Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripting
• Support deployment and integration of multi-technology applications (Java, Python, PHP, Node.js, Angular)
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment frequency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering and DevOps
• Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Aurora, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB, Route 53, CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline design (declarative/scripted)
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration
• Solid Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS) and working knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of AWS security: IAM policies, KMS, Guard Duty, RBAC
• Experience with Git-based version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions)

Good to Have

• AWS Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator)
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
• Exposure to SCCM or enterprise desktop/helpdesk environments
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups
• Background in disaster recovery planning and backup strategy implementation
