Technical Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background in cloud infrastructure to lead and execute complex technical projects. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure solutions while managing risks, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Own the planning, execution, and closeout of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into clear business language, providing regular status updates, and preparing project dashboards.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Collaborate with architects and SMEs to build detailed project plans. Manage resource assignments and capacity to ensure deliverables are met on time.
• Technical Governance: Actively identify gaps, risks, and bottlenecks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies. Lead agile teams (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, etc.) and ensure governance processes are followed.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize delivery, teach others to incorporate new ideas, and influence process improvements within the wider program organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in managing software development and infrastructure delivery projects.
• Technical Background: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS, GCP). Experience managing projects involving Java/J2EE and Microservices technologies is highly preferred.
• Methodologies: Expert in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Waterfall, SAFe, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Tool Proficiency: Proven proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Power BI.
• Communication: Strong leadership, influencing, and orchestration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both senior management and technical engineering teams.
• Certifications: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) and Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM) are preferred.
