Job summary

Opt IT in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methods, plus proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, risk and stakeholder management, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in IT or technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
• Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder communication, status reporting, and escalations.
• Ensure adherence to quality, governance, Agile, or waterfall methodologies.
• Lead project reviews, change management, and resource planning.
• Maintain project plans, documentation, RAID logs, and performance reports.
• Drive issue resolution and ensure successful project delivery.
