Job Description: Infrastructure Lead / Manager

Role Overview

The Infrastructure Lead/Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless operations, scalability, and security. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across data centers, cloud environments, and networking domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including data center migrations, cloud adoption (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL, PMI, or PRINCE2 frameworks for project governance and delivery.
• Manage and lead Desktop & Admin, Active Directory and O365 support, ensuring timely resolution of AutoTask tickets, VDI creations and decommissions, and AVD decommissions.
• Supervise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) – ensure daily CI assignments, reduce stale tasks, manage RITM requests, validate Azure cloud discovery schedules, and oversee cleanup of duplicate CIs.
• Manage and lead Server & Infrastructure monitoring backups, daily checks, manage Autotask tickets, oversee server builds/upgrades, and monitor SCOM alerts.
• Ensure compliance and health in Infrastructure Storage and VMware – maintain ESXi patch compliance, monitor Commvault backups, review Intersight health checks and validate storage capacity reports.
• Drive Information Security initiatives – develop Azure DevOps pipelines for Kubernetes clusters, integrate security posture management, and implement compliance and vulnerability checks.
• Manage and drive DevOps Program – pipeline creation for applications, exposure to implement Terraform for Non‑Prod environments, and resolve build pipeline issues.
• Manage and deliver Network operations and Security Operations, including SecOps ticket handling, ThreatConnect cases, NetOps tasks such as OpManager support, Python automation enhancements, SOP documentation, vWAN/Terraform deployments, monitoring dashboards, and automation initiatives with ServiceNow APIs; drive implementation of cybersecurity best practices, disaster recovery plans, and high‑availability solutions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and project management.
• Proven expertise in data center migrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, or AWS/Azure Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience in budget planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, disaster recovery, and high‑availability infrastructure system solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow).
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with tools like AutoTask, Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar project tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud strategies and emerging infrastructure technologies.
