Reports to: Director of Finance
Ensure seamless IT operations across all systems, platforms, and units, maintaining premium service standards. Oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, servers, data centres, and property systems. Lead the deployment of enterprise technology solutions, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives in alignment with the business strategy.
Promote continuous learning by mentoring IT staff through live issue resolution and project execution. Organize real-time simulations, troubleshooting drills, and knowledge transfer sessions to enhance technical agility. Monitor adherence to IT SOPs, usage guidelines, and cybersecurity protocols. Conduct periodic evaluations to track skill application and technology adaptation across departments.
Lead by example with professionalism, technical expertise, and high ethical standards. Drive innovation in system efficiency, automation, and data security practices. Partner with executive leadership to align IT roadmap with strategic business goals. Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and collaborative success within the IT team.
Supervise, mentor, and develop IT team members to ensure operational excellence and readiness. Plan and implement training programs in collaboration with the L&D team to ensure technical competence and compliance. Conduct regular performance reviews, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Manage departmental budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to IT infrastructure and services. Optimize IT investments through vendor negotiation, lifecycle planning, and ROI analysis. Analyse performance data and reports to inform strategic technology decisions and improve system performance.
Ensure compliance with global and local IT regulations, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and cybersecurity mandates. Implement robust data protection, access control, and backup protocols. Manage audits, incident response, and IT risk registers while upholding enterprise information security standards. Oversee all HSSE reporting and system compliance within IT infrastructure.
Champion the implementation and enforcement of OH&S standards across all operational areas. Monitor safety risks, conduct regular safety drills, and update emergency response plans. Ensure department heads and teams are trained in HSSE protocols, fire safety, and first aid readiness. Record and investigate incidents, enforce preventive measures, and ensure continuous improvement in safety practices.
Minimum 10 years in IT management within hospitality or luxury service environments; at least 2 years in IT leadership role
