Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Assembly Process Industrialization Engineer to design and develop assembly manufacturing processes that meet production standards. You will collaborate with project managers, CE, plant and quality teams to ensure timely delivery.

This role requires expertise in selecting and qualifying manufacturing processes and equipment, developing layouts, lean manufacturing, and implementing new technologies locally, with a focus on cost reductions and risk mitigation.

• BE: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 8-12 years of job-related experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and assemble manufacturing processes meeting Schneider production standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, CE, plant and quality functions to meet timelines.
• Specify, implement and qualify manufacturing processes and equipment per SPS principles.
• Develop new layouts and improve current layouts; support vendors; lean manufacturing; value stream approach; cost reductions.
• Select and validate new assembly technologies/processes locally.
• Specialist in product selections in conveyors, pneumatics, robots integration, pick and place, servo slides, tooling, UV curing, bowl feeder, tightening equipment.
• Apply design studies and use design software; visualize line architecture; analyze measurement data and derive action plans.
• Mitigate risk through Design FMEA and action plans.

Key Responsibilities

The Assembly Process Industrialization Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and assembly manufacturing processes which should meet Schneider production standards. Must work closely with Project managers, CE, Plant, and quality functions to ensure delivery against business timelines. Clear understanding and communication skills to discuss and provide communication in leadership meetings.

Specialist in Product Assy Process : Specifying, Implementing & Qualifying the Manufacturing Process & Equipment in compliance with SPS Principles.

Bring his/her technical expertise within local industrialization team or local mfg Engg team. Select, Validate, Introduce & Standardize New Assy technologies/processes locally.

Development of New Layouts & also improvement of Current layouts, Vendor Support functions, Lean Mfg , Value Stream Approach, Cost reductions, Execution of New Projects.

Specialist in Product Selections in Conveyor selections, Pneumatics, Robots Integration, Pick and Place, Servo slides Selection, Tooling & testing equipments, Gluing, UV Curing, Bowl feeder & Tightening Equipment selection, Welding, Laser Marking & Vision system.

Skilled in innovative, precise, cost-effective solution for meeting the technical challenges.

Specialist in Product and Process Design FMEA and mitigate Action plan for Risk reduction.

Specialist in Design study-Proficiency in Design software's and visualize the line architecture.

Analyze measurement data's and derive analysis with respect to product and develop action plans.
