Expect responsibilities spanning calibration, maintenance, and performance reporting while coordinating with quality and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• BE - Mechanical / Industrial, 7–9 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Tool-Engineering, Machining processes, and setup activities.
• Knowledge of SAP-PP Module and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Tool management: receipt, storage, issue, and life records of tools.
• Inventory control: stock verification, reports, and procurement requests.
• Documentation: maintain tool registers and SAP/Excel records.
• Procurement coordination: interact with purchasing for tool supply.
• Calibration & maintenance: coordinate with quality and maintain instruments.

Job Location: Khandala MIDC, Phase-II, Village Kesurdi, Tal.- Khandala, Dist.- Satara, Maharashtra.

Designation: Assistant Manager

Formal education: BE - Mechanical / Industrial

Professional experience:7 to 9 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Tool Management

• Material Receipt, inspection and storage cutting tools, inserts, holders, fixtures, gauges, and consumables.
• Issue tools and equipment to machine operators as per requirements.
• Monitor tool consumption and tool life records.
• Ensure proper storage and identification of tools.

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate tool inventory records.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Prepare tool requirement reports and purchase requisitions.
• Control obsolete, damaged, and expired inventory.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain tool issue and return registers.
• Update SAP, Excel, or inventory management systems.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain tooling consumption record.

Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with the purchase department for tool procurement.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding tool deliveries.
• Compare quotations and maintain vendor records when required.

Calibration & Maintenance

• Maintain records of measuring instruments and gauges.
• Coordinate calibration schedules with quality departments.
• Ensure tools and measuring instruments are in good working condition.
