The ideal candidate has a BE in Industrial Engineering with 7–10 years of manufacturing experience and a track record of enhancing plant performance, OEE, and productivity metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of time and motion study, work measurement, line balancing, and process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies using stopwatch, video analysis, or digital time study tools.
• Perform motion studies to eliminate unnecessary movements and improve operator efficiency.
• Establish SAT and SMV for manufacturing operations.
• Develop SOPs based on study findings.
• Recommend workstation improvements using ergonomic principles.
• Analyse operator fatigue and reduce physical strain.
• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and non-value-added activities.
• Improve plant layout to optimize material flow.
• Reduce cycle time through process optimization.
• Improve OEE and support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
• Monitor labour productivity and machine utilization.
• Calculate production efficiency and line balancing.
• Develop productivity improvement plans.
• Optimize manpower deployment.
• Conduct production capacity analysis and estimate manpower and machine requirements.
• Support production planning with capacity calculations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and waste.
