Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-9 years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Process Development.
• Hands-on experience in cycle-time study, cost reduction, BOM creation, process development and plant layout planning.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, sheet metal, manufacturing processes and plant layout.
• Experience with Creo/UG NX and GD&T.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for process improvement and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plant layouts, assembly layouts, process documentation, and analysis, and implement CAPA for CDT-related tasks.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies for new product development and process improvement.
• Coordinate with Production, Sourcing, and Quality teams for project execution, process development, testing, and improvements.
• Drive process re-engineering, cycle-time optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support root cause analysis, BOM creation, process costing, and continuous improvement activities.

Objective of the Position

To drive industrial engineering and process improvement initiatives by developing efficient plant and assembly layouts, optimizing processes and cycle times, reducing costs, and ensuring smooth implementation of new and improved manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plant layouts, assembly layouts, process documentation, and analysis, and implement CAPA for CDT-related tasks.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies for new product development and process improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Production, Sourcing, and Quality teams for project execution, process development, testing, and improvements.
• Drive process re-engineering, cycle-time optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Support root cause analysis, BOM creation, process costing, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 3-9 years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Process Development.
• Hands-on experience in cycle-time study, cost reduction, BOM creation, process development, and plant layout planning.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, sheet metal, manufacturing processes, and plant layout.
• Hands-on experience with Creo / UG NX and good understanding of GD&T.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and re-engineering initiatives.
