Job summary

Job Description

Job Purpose

To improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost performance by analyzing processes, optimizing workflows, implementing industrial engineering techniques, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Conduct time studies, motion studies, work measurement, and capacity analysis to establish optimal manufacturing methods.

Develop and improve plant layouts, material flow, line balancing, and workstation design for maximum efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping methodologies.

Monitor and reduce manufacturing waste, cycle time, downtime, and overall production costs.

Support new product introduction by developing efficient production processes and standard operating procedures.

Evaluate equipment utilization and recommend automation or process improvements where appropriate.

Prepare productivity reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards for management review.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve operational issues.

Participate in CAPEX and process improvement projects, including feasibility studies and implementation support.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all process improvement activities.

Train and guide shop-floor personnel on standardized work methods and continuous improvement practices.
