Job summary

Biesse is seeking an Industrial Engineering professional in Bengaluru to drive process improvements and shopfloor optimization. The role requires hands-on experience in IE principles, Lean tools, and kaizen, with responsibilities spanning BOM, routing, SOPs, and NPI-related changes.

You will conduct time/motion studies, ergonomics analyses, and line balancing, while leveraging SAP/Oracle for IE tasks and CAD/ERP tools to enhance efficiency in a high-pace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in Industrial Engineering principles & LEAN tools
• Biesse IE candidates should be proficient with Kaizen & continuous improvement
• Hands on experience in BOM, Routing, work instruction / SOP
• Time / Motion study & Ergonomic workplace
• TAKT change & Line balancing with de-bottleneck
• Capacity planning & Manpower calculation
• Industrialization of New product Introduction & Product Change request management
• Shopfloor layout design (AutoCAD) & Kanban with warehouse management
• Hands on experience in MS Office & SAP/Oracle for IE related (Solid Edge, ERP system, Team Centre will be added advantage)

Responsibilities

• Apply Industrial Engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Lead line balancing and de-bottleneck exercises to improve throughput.
• Develop jig/fixture concepts and shopfloor layouts to streamline work.
• Conduct time/motion studies; ensure ergonomic and efficient workstations.
• Manage BOM, routing, SOPs and change requests; support NPI.
• Utilize LEAN tools and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with ERP/SCM systems (SAP/Oracle) and CAD tools.
• Facilitate Kanban and warehouse management for material flow.
