Job summary

Siemens India is seeking a highly skilled OT Cyber Security Testing Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. The role focuses on implementing, testing and executing security solutions for OT environments, including IDS, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NDR and SOC.

You will support Sales, Engineering and Execution, conduct internal and external trainings, manage the Cyber Security Lab, run patch evaluations, trials and simulations, and engage with industry forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science with at least 5 years in cyber security.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 and implementation; certifications preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NDR, SOC, IDS/IPS, RBAC, AD, hardening, antivirus.
• Knowledge of Ethernet Switches, Firewalls and Routers.
• Knowledge of OT systems and protocols.
• Patching, vulnerability assessment, network analysis, and automation knowledge.
• Certifications such as NNCE, IEC62443, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GICSP preferred.
• Knowledge of secure architecture and secure remote access; endpoint protection.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, with a focus on operational technology environments. The primary role involves working as a Cyber Security Testing Engineer to work on Implementation, Testing and Execution for Cyber Security Solutions like.

• Intrusion Detection System (IDS),


• Security Information & Event Management (SIEM),


• Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR),


• User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA),


• Network Detection and Response (NDR),


• Security Operation Center (SOC),


• Role Base Access Control (RBAC) & Active Directory (AD),


• Vulnerability Assessment and recommendation of mitigations


• Antivirus and Whitelisting


• System Hardening

The Key Responsibility Area (KRA) for the position will be:

• Technical: The role shall be responsible for Implementation, Testing and Execution of Cyber Security Solutions.


• Sales, BD & Operations Support: The role shall be responsible for supporting various Teams like Sales, Engineering, Execution for Technical Cyber Security requirements from different business segments.


• Trainings: The role shall be responsible for conducting internal as well as external Cyber Security Trainings.


• Cyber Security Lab: The role shall be responsible for


• Vulnerability & Patch evaluation, Patch testing, Patch finalization for customer patch management orders & support for implementation of the same.


• Conducting various trials / simulations / testing in the lab for various aspects of cybersecurity.


• Industry Connect: Representing the Cyber Security capabilities in various external forums and events.


• Specification / Tender evaluation and offer making


• Support for CRP panel testing

Qualification

• Successfully completed degree in B-Tech/B.E. in Electronics & Communication/Computer Science or comparable training with relevant professional experience of Minimum 5 years in the field of Cyber Security.


• The Candidate must have knowledge on ISO27001 and Implementation of the same, the certified candidate shall be having the preference.


• The candidates must have hands-on experience in cyber security solutions SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NDR, SOC, IPS/IDS, RBAC, AD, Hardening, Antivirus deployment.


• The Candidate must have knowledge on handling Ethernet Switches, Firewalls and Routers.


• The Candidate must have knowledge of OT systems and Protocols.


• The candidate must have Knowledge of topics such as patch management, Vulnerability Assessment, network analysis and automation.


• The candidate having relevant cyber security certifications such as NNCE, IEC62443, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GICSP shall be having the preference.


• The Candidate must have knowledge on different other Cyber Security aspects such as Secure Architecture, Secure Remote Access and Methodologies to protect endpoints.


• The candidate must have good communication and presentation skills.
