Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in India’s Offshore Service Technology unit seeks an experienced cybersecurity professional to serve as the primary customer interface for OT security matters. You will translate customer requirements into practical solutions and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities include delivering services per SLAs, managing inquiries, and driving timely resolutions while continuously improving offerings based on customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of industry experience in cybersecurity, preferably in industrial control systems or OT environments.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62443 and NERC CIP frameworks is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor translating customer requirements into practical solutions and guidance.
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with SLAs and contractual commitments.
  • Manage customer security inquiries, track actions, and drive timely resolution of concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement of cybersecurity services by incorporating feedback from customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular reports on security status, performance, risks, and actions for governance.

What You Bring
  • Customer-focused cybersecurity professional with expertise in OT, SCADA, and industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NERC CIP.
  • Skilled at communicating complex security concepts and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, servers, and OT infrastructure.
  • Wind energy or industrial cybersecurity experience and certification exposure are advantageous.
  • Proactive team player with strong ownership, collaboration, and English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
Education & Experience
  • 5 - 8 years of industry experience
  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or a comparable discipline.
  • This qualification should be combined with relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, industrial control systems, wind power, electrical equipment, or a related technical environment.
About The Team

This role is part of the Offshore Service Technology organization in India. You will operate as an individual contributor and collaborate closely with Operations, the Siemens Energy Cybersecurity organization, Offshore Execution, TE-PPS, and other customer-facing and technical functions.

The mission of the team is to provide flexible, responsive, and high-quality cybersecurity support that meets current and future customer contracts. Through close coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, the team supports compliant service delivery, strengthens customer trust, and continuously improves cybersecurity services for the offshore wind business.
