Job summary

Adecco India is seeking a procurement professional from the pharmaceutical sector to handle indirect procurement and MRO purchasing. You will manage RFQs, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely availability of spares and consumables.

The role requires a technical graduation and 5–10 years of experience in pharma procurement, with strong coordination across engineering and maintenance teams to support continuous operations.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of indirect procurement and MRO purchasing experience in a pharma environment.
• Pharmaceutical domain exposure is preferred and technical graduation is required.
• Role expects compliance with procurement policies and timely material availability.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of spares and consumables for pharma operations.
• RFQ management, techno-commercial evaluation, vendor negotiation and finalizing orders.
• PO creation and follow-up in SAP/ERP.
• Vendor development and performance monitoring; identify alternate sources.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Products and other departments.
