HR Solutions in Sri City Plant, Andhra Pradesh, is seeking an Associate - Non-RM Purchase to manage procurement for MRO and engineering items. You will handle RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings while coordinating with the Non-RM Purchase category.

The role requires 8–10 years in procurement, strong SAP experience, and familiarity with Ariba, Coupa, and SAP MM. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for this on-site position.

• Conduct market research and develop category strategy roadmap.
• Deliver annual savings, cost avoidance, cash-flow improvement and productivity targets.
• Preparing purchase orders with SAP and related conditions.
• Working on Annual rate contracts / Scheduling agreements for MRO / Engineering/ Consumables items across plants.

Job Description

Associate - Non-RM Purchase

Details of the Position

Function / Department : Non-RM Purchase

Reports to : Category Specialist, Non-RM Purchase

Location : Sri City Plant, Andra Pradesh

Purpose of the Position

Procurement of various items - MRO for plant & field with the attribute of time, cost & quality, while ensuring the implementation of different measures taken for inventory control.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The major / primary roles and responsibilities of the job will be as follows, including but not limited to:

• Prepare and manage RFI/RFQ/RFP, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery terms,

freight charges, raw material, other commercial conditions, and finalization of RFQ.

• Prepare technical-commercial comparisons, normalize supplier proposals and support

supplier selection. Evaluate supplier proposals using TCO models and ROI metrics.

• Conduct market research, supplier identification, alternate vendor development and

prepare a category strategy roadmap.

• Deliver annual savings, cost avoidance, cash-flow improvement, and productivity

improvement targets.

• Preparing purchase orders with various conditions in SAP.
• Working on Annual rate contracts / Scheduling agreement for MRO / Engineering /

Consumables items for all plants.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, and stake-holder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, exposure to SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Tableau or similar

ERP/eProcurement tools preferred.

• Good knowledge of purchase process as a category buyer.
• Good working knowledge of purchasing methods.
• Good working knowledge of Annual rate contract.
• Supplier relationship management & development.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of SAP MM module.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, ownership and problem-solving skills.

Experience
