Job summary

ProcDNA is hiring a Data Engineer to design and deliver advanced Tableau/Power BI dashboards, optimize performance, and translate business needs into actionable visualizations. You will work with data engineers and analysts to build scalable solutions, focusing on ETL pipelines and data warehousing in the pharma domain.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of hands-on BI development experience, cloud data warehouse expertise (Redshift/Snowflake/Azure Data Factory), and strong SQL/Data Modeling skills

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Tableau/Power BI development.
• Prior experience in managing client stakeholders and junior team members.
• A background in managing Life Science clients is mandatory.
• Extensive hands-on experience in working with cloud data warehouses like Redshift, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, etc. And Proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, and designing ETL pipelines is a must.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau/Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create data visualizations that are clear, concise, and actionable.
• Optimize dashboard performance and implement best practices for data visualization.
• Strong understanding of HCP, HCO, Patient, Territory, Product, Payer, and Specialty Pharmacy data models within the pharmaceutical domain.
• Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines or underlying code to enhance data warehouse system
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Conduct peer reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends.
