Job summary

Aon is seeking an IND Analyst II – APAC Retirement Actuarial in Gurugram with hybrid work. You will collect and analyze large retirement plan data, apply actuarial models, and support regulatory reporting for APAC clients.

The role requires math/statistics/actuarial education and active actuarial exams, plus 1 year relevant experience in benefits and retirement schemes. Collaboration with a diverse retirement team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation or Post Graduation in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/Actuarial Science.
• Member of any recognized Actuarial Society like IAI, IFOA or SOA and actively pursuing actuarial exam.
• Relevant industry knowledge and minimum work experience of 1 year (Employee Benefits, Retirement and Health Benefits preferably).

Responsibilities

• Readiness to the role as per the Retirement career path / skill blocks
• Actuarial Calculations: Competent doer on actuarial calculations, such as funding update, accounting disclosures, GMP equalization / rectification, valuation & members calculation
• Regulatory compliance: Stay updated with the relevant regulations, guidelines, and legislation affecting retirement plans and pension schemes in APAC. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory bodies.
• Communication and reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries of actuarial findings for internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients. Clearly communicate complex actuarial concepts and results to non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with other members of the retirement team, including actuaries, analysts, and consultants, to support the overall objectives of the team.
• Professional development: Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the actuarial field, including attending seminars, workshops, and pursuing relevant professional certifications.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
