Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd in India is seeking a Sr. Engineer/Asst Manager, Electronics/Electrical Maintenance for the Machine Shop.

The role covers maintenance of machine shop equipment, and preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, with emphasis on control systems engineering. BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics with 4–10 years' experience is required; expertise in CNC controllers (840D, Fanuc, Rexroth) and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens) is preferred, along with SAP

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required.
• Experience in maintenance of machine shop equipment and control systems is essential.
• Preference for CNC controllers (840D, Fanuc, Rexroth) and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens).
• Strong troubleshooting, safety and 5S discipline are required.
• SAP documentation and audit readiness are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of machine shop, machines and equipment.
• Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of machines.
• Experience in control system engineering.
• Expertise in CNC controllers and PLCs.
• Air leakage tests, vacuum tests and process plant maintenance.
• Troubleshooting electrical circuits and PLCs to identify root causes.
• Ensure maintenance KPIs and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and prepare for audits.
• Record activities in SAP and implement improvements.
• Localization of costly imported spares and in-house refurbishment.

The Control Division develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance like ABS and ESP.RBIC would soon be expanding portfolio in passive safety and other Driver assistance products.

• Maintenance of Machine shop, machines, and equipment.
• Preventive, Predictive and breakdown maintenance of machine shop, machines equipment's.
• Experience in control system engineering.
• Preferable expertise in CNC controllers 840D, Fanuc, Rexroth and PLCs - Allen bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rexroth, robotics(Fanuc, universal)
• Expertise in Air leakage test, Vacuum tests, Process plants
• Troubleshooting of technical losses using electrical circuit, PLC & other analytical tools to find out cause
• Breakdown analysis, problem solving technique knowledge.
• Ensure maintenance KPI’s for below target.
• Effectiveness monitoring of all the corrective & preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to defined maintenance processes.
• Ensure safety and 5S in maintenance area and shopfloor.
• Maintenance documentation and preparation for audits.
• Maintain all activity related records in SAP.
• Implementation of improvement projects.
• Inhouse refurbishment of machine spares
• Localization of costly imported spares.
• Analysis to plan & implement corrective and preventive measures for major breakdowns.
