Job summary

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Private Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a production/quality engineer to support manufacturing processes for ECUs, BCMs and related modules.

You will drive process readiness for new products, implement DOE/PDCA, and lead continuous improvements across tools, fixtures and line performance. The role requires BE/ diploma in mechanical engineering with strong root cause analysis, FMEA and CP/FPY improvements, plus dashboarding skills in Tableau/Power BI.

Qualifications

• Problem solving methodology including root cause analysis, DOE and PDCA.
• Experience with FMEA, process capability studies and CP/CpK.
• Ability to create dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to analyze process failures.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge in Dispensing process (Conformal coating, Glue dot & TIM printing) and PCBA cleaning processes; tooling/fixtures.
• Prepare, validate and document production readiness for NPI & ECR.
• Design approval, line build coordination, pre-acceptance, installation & line release.
• 2nd level machine downtime solving & guidance.
• Internal & customer defects problem solving using 7QC tools and PDCA.
• Process improvement (utilization, POKAYOKE, CIP projects).
• PFMEA, CP & FPY improvements.
• New process development, standard templates & knowledge sharing.
• Benchmarking, localization, tool life improvement.
• COordination with development and lead plant for process and new products.

Qualifications

BE in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Engineering
