Job summary

Benchmark Gensuite seeks a Product Developer Associate (DevOps) to drive development and operations across EHS, Sustainability, and ESG platforms. You will contribute to code reviews, API work, and cloud-ready solutions while collaborating with customer teams to deliver reliable, scalable software.

The role emphasizes strong scripting, cloud familiarity, and a hands-on approach to product knowledge, CI/CD, and monitoring in a fast-growing, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Java, ColdFusion, ASP.NET, Node.js).
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience in client-side programming (JavaScript, jQuery, or ReactJS).
• Understanding of webpages and web development standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (GitLab, GitHub).
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Project development following the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Product support including error resolution and minor enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and skills training.
• Build product knowledge and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Project development and innovation following the full Software Development Life Cycle process
• Product support including error resolution, troubleshooting and minor improvements
• Participate in code reviews and skills development training
• Acquire experience in product knowledge
• Work with customer-facing teams on solutions
• Meet timelines, prioritize tasks and communicate with all stakeholders
• Innovate and think creativity to deliver customer-centric solutions

Qualification & Experience

• Proficiency in any server-side programming like coldfusion, java, asp.net, node js
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Good Experience in client side programming like javascript , jquery or reactjs
• Good understanding of webpages and web development standards
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS, Azure etc
• Experience with Restful API development
• Familiarity of monitoring & logging tools and Version controllers (gitlab, github etc)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Understanding of scripting languages python or Bash or powershell etc
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams
