Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in data engineering or API management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies in Apigee X/Hybrid


• Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Key, SSL/TLS security


• Configure traffic management policies (Quota, Spike Arrest, Caching)


• API lifecycle management and developer portal integration


• CI/CD implementation using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions


• API monitoring and troubleshooting using Splunk, Kibana, Datadog, etc.


• Work with REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML transformations


• Deploy and support API solutions on GCP environments

Mandatory skill sets:

• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid


• API Security (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS)


• API Gateway/API Management expertise


• CI/CD and Git-based deployments


• GCP exposure

Preferred skill sets:

• Experience with traffic management and caching policies


• Production support and API monitoring exposure
