IBM Consulting in India invites a Senior Lead Apigee-X Engineer to join our FutureNow Center in Bengaluru. You will lead API governance, migrate legacy APIs to Google Cloud Apigee-X, and collaborate with security and cloud architecture teams.

You bring extensive experience in API platforms, OAuth2.0, CI/CD pipelines, and OpenAPI, and will mentor teams while shaping enterprise API strategy in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: design and implement end-to-end API management solutions on Apigee-X integrated with GCP infrastructure (e.g., Cloud Load Balancing, IAM).
• Technical Leadership: act as the hands-on lead for engineering teams, code/policy reviews, enforcing API design standards (OAS 3.0), and establishing enterprise API governance policies.
• Developer Ecosystem: oversee the setup, security, and maintenance of the Apigee Developer Portal and internal API marketplaces to drive API discoverability and onboarding for internal and external developers.

Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

  Lead a team of integration engineers, partner with security and cloud architecture leads, and act as the primary SME for enterprise API enablement.
