Job summary

Benchmark Gensuite Bangalore is seeking a Finance Specialist to manage accounting, billing and AR functions. You will ensure accurate invoicing, track POs/SOWs, and coordinate with delivery, sales and finance teams to resolve billing issues.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in accounting and AR, with GST/TDS knowledge and strong MS Excel/ERP skills. Join us to support digital EHS, sustainability, and ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, billing or AR management.
• B.Com with sound knowledge of accounting principles and GST/TDS.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP tools.
• Experience in a software product or IT services setup.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and manage customer invoicing data.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing as per project or client requirements.
• Update and track POs and SOWs for ongoing projects.
• Handle accounts receivable: follow up on outstanding payments and maintain ageing reports.
• Perform reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with delivery, sales, and finance teams for billing-related queries.
• Apply GST and TDS during invoicing and reporting.
• Prepare periodic financial and AR reports with proper documentation.
