Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking an experienced engineer to manage technical customer accounts and support sales with RFQs. The role covers pre- and post-order activities, project liaison with customers and suppliers, and involvement in commissioning and lifecycle management across industrial applications.

Applicants should have a BE/B.Tech in Electronics, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with PLCs, servo drives, motion controllers, and automation protocols.

Qualifications

• Essential: BE/B.Tech in Electronics/EEE
• 4–6 years of experience in automation/drive and control
• Experience with PLC, servo drives, motion controllers, HMI/SCADA
• Exposure to IT languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB, Java is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts on technical aspects and provide support to Sales for RFQs
• Perform techno-commercial qualification, risk assessment, and prepare proposals
• Post-order technical work, documentation, and customer approvals
• Coordinate with customers, BU, and vendors across the project lifecycle
• Support commissioning, product lifecycle management, and retrofit projects
• Develop and document concepts, prototypes, and value-added ideas
• Maintain CRM/ProMIS data and monitor opportunity pipeline

Job Description

• Responsibility of managing customer account on technical aspects.
• Technical support to Sales to generate RFQ. Qualification & Risk Assessment of opportunities.
• Pre-Order working on techno-commercial proposals & required documents e.g. Schematic, BOM, Cost sheet etc.
• Post-Order Technical working and documentation, customer approval.
• Liaison with Customer, CFTs/ BU / Vendors during entire project.
• Support & participate with Service team in commissioning, product Life cycle management and retrofitment.
• Prove-Out concepts, prototyping with documentation.
• Project Documentation incl. Loss Order Analysis, Lesson Learned, etc.
• Continuous improvement on techno-commercial competitiveness of application. Promote Value engineering & Value-Addition to offer in light with Value Selling concepts.
• Develop & promote future technology / products / solution.
• Conduct technical trainings / awareness
• Process Automation; Process Improvement / Optimization, Process Simplicity. Waste Elimination. Increase in efficiency. Improve in response and output time.
• Opportunity pipeline review. Data maintenance in CRM/ProMIS.

Qualifications

Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Electronics/EEE engineer

Preferred Educational Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Electronics engineer

No. of years of Experience required: Minimum 4-6 years

Preferred Knowledge / Exposure -

• Basic Electrical and Electronic Knowledge
• PLC programming knowledge in ladder language , ST programming Added Advantage.
• Basic Knowledge on Servo drives, Servo Motors, Basic knowledge on CNC, Motion controllers
• HMI programming , SCADA programming
• Basic knowledge on Communication protocols Like Profinet, Ethercat, Ethernet IP, Modbus, OPC-UA
• Basic Knowledge on automotive, Printing and packaging Industry Sectors
• Experience on working with Printing Machine and Packaging Machines.
• Basic Knowledge on Power Point and Excel
• Basic Knowledge on AC drives, VFD, Induction motor Working. Basic Knowledge on Electrical Wiring ,Basic Switch Gear Working inside Machine panels, Trouble
