Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India, a leading drive and control solutions provider, is seeking an experienced engineer in hydraulics to support series development and global operations. You will design hydraulic components, perform calculations, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications include BE/MTech in Mechanical/Mechatronics with 4–10 years of hydraulics experience, proficiency in CREO/PDM, FMEA, and GD&T, plus strong English communication for cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• B.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics with 4–10 years of relevant hydraulics experience.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic valves, components and circuits.
• Experience in design of hydraulic components/parts.
• Experience in development projects and processes.
• Knowledge of FMEA, tolerance stack‑up analysis, GD&T.
• Knowledge of general manufacturing, production and assembly processes.
• Good English communication and collaboration skills.
• Software: CREO & PDM – modelling and drawing for machined and casting parts, assembly of hydraulic valves.
• Advantage: Structural FEM and CFD knowledge; SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the Group Leader, driving key initiatives.
• Propose execution plans for projects and identify challenges.
• Drive execution of assigned projects with timely completion and reporting.
• Analyze data to establish systematic procedures for routine tasks and drive process improvements.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance capabilities.
• Support product engineering for series business to worldwide plants and global sales.
• Create and maintain engineering documents like BOM and material master in SAP.
• Design and develop new components for hydraulic products and solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and FMEA.

Leading Role:

• Provide strategic support to the Group Leader, contributing to key initiatives and decision-making.

• Creation and maintenance (ECR) of engineering documents like BOM and material master in SAP.
• Design and development of new components for hydraulic products and solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, Design FMEA etc.
• Generate ideas and implement product and process cost reduction topics.

Qualifications

B.E. / M. Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering with 4 to 10 years (at least 4-6 yrs relevant industry experience in hydraulics component design)

Must have:

• Knowledge of Hydraulic valves, components and circuits
• Experience in design of hydraulic components / parts
• Experience of development project and process
• Knowledge of FMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD & T.
• Knowledge of general manufacturing, production and assembly processes.
• Good English communication and collaboration skills
• Software expertise: CREO & PDM – Modelling and drawing for machined and casting parts,assembly of hydraulic valves

Will be considered as advantagehavingexposure of:

• Structural FEM and CFD knowledge
• SAP knowledge.
