Job summary

Hamiltonindia is seeking a procurement professional in Mumbai to manage sourcing of raw materials, packing, and traded goods. The role focuses on cost control, vendor negotiations, and ensuring timely material availability for production.

The candidate should have an engineering or PG Diploma in supply chain or related field, with SAP knowledge preferred. You will drive supplier evaluation, inventory optimization, and compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of raw materials, packing and traded goods.
• Ensure cost effectiveness and timely availability of materials.
• Negotiate with vendors, finalise rates and implement cost optimization strategies.
• Identify, evaluate and onboarding vendors for regular and traded items.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure delivery timelines.
• Ensure quality compliance and timely closure of vendor claims or rejections.

Reporting To Deputy General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Managing procurement of raw materials, packing and traded goods(e.g.Treo/Procook)
• Ensuring cost effectiveness, timely availability
• Negotiate with vendors, finalise rates and implement cost optimization strategies
• Identify, evaluate and vendors for both regular and traded items.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels
• Ensure quality compliance, timely delivery and closure of vendors claims or rejections

Skills & Educational Qualifications

• Engineer /PG Diploma in supply chain, material or operation. SAP knowledge(preferred)

Additional Skills

• Procurement of RM, PM, Traded goods
• Cost control and Rate finalization for regular and traded items
• Vendor management and Delivery adherence
