Job summary

Sppl Property Management in Bangalore is seeking an experienced MEP Electrical Execution Engineer to plan, supervise, and monitor electrical works across residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, safety standards, and schedules.

You will coordinate with Civil and other MEP teams, review shop drawings, manage subcontractors, and drive testing and commissioning of HT/LT systems, DG sets, panels, and earthing networks, drawing on 4–9 years of site experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use or high-rise projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical works per drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Supervise installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cable trays and lighting systems.

Job Summary

The MEP Electrical Execution Engineer is responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and monitoring of all electrical works at construction sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, project schedules, and coordination with other MEP disciplines and civil teams.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Execution & Site Management

• Execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cable trays, cable laying, lighting systems, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
• Review shop drawings and ensure execution according to approved designs.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams for smooth execution.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work progress reports.
• Coordinate with Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other stakeholders to avoid work conflicts.
• Track material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide status updates.

Quality Control

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant standards and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems.
• Prepare inspection requests (IRs) and ensure closure of quality observations.
• Verify as-built drawings and commissioning documents.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor safe working practices during electrical installations and testing activities.

Testing & Commissioning

• Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of transformers, DG sets, panels, lighting systems, and earthing networks.
• Assist in obtaining approvals from statutory authorities and utility providers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high‑rise building projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

Preferred candidate profile
