Job summary

Aayan Infotech in Lucknow is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with 2–4 years of experience in IT services/software development to translate client needs into clear functional specifications and collaborate with developers, QA, and project teams.

You will document BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, create process flows, wireframes, and backlogs, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support UAT, ensuring deliverables align with business requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT Services, Software Development, or Technology company.
• Strong experience in client-facing / stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Flows.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical/functional specifications.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Good knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS Visio, Figma/Balsamiq, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and client requirements.
• Conduct requirement discussions, stakeholder meetings, and discovery sessions.
• Translate business requirements into clear BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Work closely with clients and internal technical teams to clarify requirements.
• Create process flows, wireframes, user journeys, and functional documentation where required.
• Coordinate with Developers, QA, UI/UX, Project Managers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prioritize requirements and maintain a well-structured product/project backlog.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the development and QA teams by providing requirement clarifications and acceptance criteria.
• Review deliverables to ensure they align with approved business requirements.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential improvements in business processes.
• Assist in UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
• Prepare requirement documents, meeting notes, status updates, and other project documentation.
• Act as a bridge between the client/business stakeholders and technical teams.
