Job summary

True Platform is seeking a Principal Product Manager in India to own end-to-end major Thrive product surfaces. You will drive strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes, working closely with US leadership and True Platform teams to ship AI-powered capabilities.

• Location: India; hybrid, with regular overlap hours with US-based teams
• Thrive TRM is True's talent relationship management software: the platform that powers True's own search practice and is used by leading executive search firms, venture capital and private equity talent teams, and in-house executive recruiting functions. • You will be one of a small number of senior PMs globally, working directly with product and technology leadership in the US, and you will help establish product culture for our growing India engineering teams as a founding product hire in our new India office.

what youll do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for a major product area within Thrive, from problem discovery through pricing and adoption
• Start with the business, not the feature: build the case in terms of growth, retention, and efficiency, and defend it with numbers
• Talk to users constantly. Shadow executive recruiters, PE talent partners, and search associates; observe their workflows; measure and remove friction
• Prototype your ideas yourself using AI tools, and bring working concept prototypes to strategy discussions rather than slide decks
• Define and ship agentic AI capabilities
• Partner daily with engineering leads in India and the US inside an AI-native development process, writing specs that are ready to build
• Present directly to senior executives, clients, and investor stakeholders, and hold your own in the room
• Mentor junior product managers and business analysts, and help set the bar for product craft in our India office
• You own prioritization, requirements, and success metrics for your product area. You make pricing and packaging recommendations validated with customers. You influence the annual roadmap and investment decisions through the business cases you build and present.

who you are

• 8+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with at least 3 years owning a product line or major surface with measurable revenue impact
• A track record of shipping products that customers paid for and renewed, ideally in data-rich or workflow-heavy domains (recruiting tech, CRM, fintech, vertical SaaS)
• AI-native in how you work today: you have prototyped with LLM tools such as Claude, run structured evaluations, or shipped AI features to production
• Strong analytical foundation: comfortable with product analytics, fluent reading a P&L, able to build a revenue model for your own product
• Excellent written and spoken English; you write crisply and present with confidence to C-level audiences
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Based in India with the ability to work hybrid from our India office, maintain regular overlap hours with US Eastern time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI products, retrieval systems, or LLM evaluation in production
• Domain exposure to executive search, recruiting, talent analytics, or HR tech
• Experience as a founding or early product hire in a new office or business unit
• MBA or equivalent commercial training
