UBS Group AG in Pune, India seeks a detail-oriented FX operations professional to enhance workflow efficiency and support the FX trade lifecycle. You will partner with stakeholders across the function to drive adoption of technology, deliver timely operational support, and assess readiness for new business areas.

Responsibilities include applying FX product knowledge, managing confirmations and reconciliations, and identifying control gaps with data-driven solutions.

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

• Increase operational efficiency using technology to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
• Partner with stakeholders on initiatives impacting the function and drive smooth operational adoption
• Interface with internal and external clients to deliver timely operational and administrative support
• Assess systems readiness, operational feasibility, and process limitations for new business areas
• Apply FX product and front-to-back process knowledge to support structured and non-standard transactions
• Identify control gaps, propose solutions, and ensure risks are understood and reflected in risk metrics

The team

You’ll be working in our US FX Operations team, based in Pune, India. We provide day-to-day support to deliver objectives and strategy for our FX business in India. You’ll work closely with Front Office and Operations stakeholders across confirmations, settlement, post-settlement, trade lifecycle management, and reconciliations.

Your Skills And Experience

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• solid foreign exchange (FX) operations experience or related function
• Hands-on delivery of end-to-end FX trade lifecycle management, including confirmations and reconciliations
• Strong capability building tactical reconciliations and resolving breaks using Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Alteryx
• Solid FX product knowledge to support operations and client relationship management needs
• Ability to optimize workflows using technology, including applying AI for workflow improvement
• Strong judgment validating AI outputs to ensure accurate, controlled process changes
• Knowledge of system, risk, and operational feasibility limitations, with a track record proposing control gap solutions
• Understanding of risk and control environment concepts to assess process risk and support risk metrics
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
