Job summary

OneXtel Limited in Pune is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3–6 years of manual testing experience to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will perform functional and integration testing, write test cases, and contribute to API validation using Postman, with opportunities to grow into automation of API and UI flows. This onsite role requires strong problem solving, collaboration with development teams, and meticulous defect tracking to support product releases.

Qualifications

• Strong QA fundamentals: test execution, documentation, and defect lifecycle.
• Hands on UI and API testing (Postman or equivalent).
• Basic programming exposure in Python/Java (or strong learning ability).
• Linux/Unix basics (log checks, troubleshooting).
• SQL/DB validation.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3-6 years of manual testing experience.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through thorough testing and defect tracking.
• Hands on experience in writing functional and integrational test cases.
• Execute manual testing: functional, integration, exploratory, and regression for services/modules.
• Perform manual API validation (auth, payload checks, negative tests, callbacks/webhooks).
• Maintain test cases, regression checklists, and release readiness validation.
• Assist defect triage and verification using Linux logs/commands.
• Gradually contribute to automation (API and selenium for UI flows).
