Job summary

Ravita Engineering Services is seeking an HVAC Technician in Navi Mumbai to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems. You will ensure safety standards and high-quality service while keeping detailed maintenance logs.

The role requires 3 years of experience, ITI/ Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related technical field, and strong problem-solving abilities. You will work in a team, handle emergencies, and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician (experience can be adjusted).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including ACs, chillers, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Inspect HVAC systems for efficient operation and safety compliance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Test systems after installation or repair to ensure performance.
• Maintain service records and inspection reports.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to complete work.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Service Manager

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service while following all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, chillers, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Inspect HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and electrical controls.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Test HVAC systems after installation or repair to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls when required.
• Follow company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned work efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 03 years of experience as an HVAC Technician (experience requirement can be adjusted).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to use testing and diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and ducting.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or on-call shifts if required.
