Vision Systems in Pune seeks an Assistant Project Manager with 8-10 years of HVAC project experience to support project managers across all phases from initiation to close-out.

You will track progress, manage budgets, coordinate materials and vendors, lead teams, and ensure client satisfaction while maintaining profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including VRF, chilled water, and ventilation systems.
• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Identify and proactively address potential issues and delays.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders.

You will play a vital role in supporting project managers across various stages of HVAC projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.

• Project Tracking and Monitoring:
• Track project progress against timelines, milestones, and budgets.
• Identify and proactively address potential issues and delays.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders.
• Team Management:
• Provide effective leadership and guidance to project teams, including technicians and vendors.
• Motivate and coach team members to achieve project goals.
• Ensure clear communication and collaboration within the team.
• Profitability Management:
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain project profitability.
• Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with the project manager to develop and implement change orders.
• Material Management:
• Coordinate material procurement, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Manage material flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform material reconciliation and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Vendor and Supplier Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

• Ensure timely resolution of vendor and supplier issues.
• Customer Management:
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Clearly communicate project status and address client concerns promptly.
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Escalation Management:
• Identify and elevate project risks and issues to the General Manager.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to resolve critical issues.
