Job summary

Synnat Pharma in India seeks a skilled HVAC Engineer to lead critical HVAC systems operations within our pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in HVAC Validation, System Optimization, and Environmental Conditions Control.
• Strong grasp of Preventive Maintenance and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, monitoring, and performance of AHUs, chillers, and ventilation in pharma cleanrooms.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting and RCA for HVAC failures; implement CAPA.
• Manage external contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Maintain records of operations, maintenance, repairs and calibration logs.
• Implement air quality monitoring to meet cleanroom classifications.
• Support audits with documentation and technical expertise.
• Prepare validation documents, SOPs and change controls.
• Lead HVAC validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and revalidation.
• Ensure GMP, FDA, WHO and other pharma regulatory compliance.
• Track new HVAC technologies and best practices for adoption.
• Use BMS to monitor and optimize HVAC performance.
• Recommend infrastructure upgrades to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, QA and Validation teams.

HVAC System Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, WHO, and other pharma regulatory guidelines

System Optimization & Energy Efficiency

• Track emerging HVAC technologies and best practices for potential adoption
• Use BMS and control systems to monitor and optimize HVAC performance
• Recommend infrastructure upgrades to improve efficiency and meet production needs
• Conduct energy audits and propose cost/environmental-impact reduction measures
• Drive strategies for improved HVAC performance, reliability, and efficiency

Cross-functional Coordination & Project Support

• Contribute to capital expenditure (CapEx) proposals for HVAC projects
• Serve as SME for HVAC-related queries and initiatives org-wide
• Train/mentor junior engineers and maintenance staff on operations and safety
• Support new facility design, expansion, and equipment installation from an HVAC perspective
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, QA, and Validation teams for seamless integration
