Job summary

Técnicas Reunidas is seeking a seasoned HVAC engineer to lead and mentor a team of engineers in petrochemical projects. You will drive design quality and ensure alignment with international standards while coordinating technical reviews and client interfaces.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of HVAC design experience in oil & gas, refinery or petrochemical sectors, with strong ASHRAE/SMACNA/ASME knowledge and proficiency in HAP and other design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, API, ISA, IEC; able to lead HVAC engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of HVAC engineers/designers.
• Manage quality, project reviews and HVAC scope.
• Own project progress, budget and technical reviews.
• Oversee HVAC deliverables and coordinate FAT/3D/Coord meetings.
• Support site work when needed.
• 10+ years of HVAC engineering and design in refinery, petrochemical and offshore industries.

Summary of the position

We are recruting for a highly skilled HVAC engineer, who is capable of leading, supporting and mentoring junior engineers within the petrochemical/chemical industry. Professionals with

Bachelor´s OR Master´s degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical and having

good knowledge in the following

• ASHRAE and SMACNA international codes.
• Familiar with the ASME, API, ISA, IEC and other industry related standards.
• Shall be organized, motivated and team worker.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role

• Leading a group of HVAC engineers/designers
• Running Quality management, project reviews and HVAC scope
• Taking ownership of the project progress, budget and technical review
• HVAC deliverables, also review FAT/3D/Coord meetings, etc.
• Provide experience during support of site work
• 10+ years of HVAC engineering and design work within the refinery, petrochemical and offshore industry
• Experience with international standards
• Design software experience with HAP
