Tecnicas Reunidas seeks a Senior HVAC Engineer with extensive experience in onshore and offshore Oil & Gas facilities and energy projects. You will develop and review HVAC design basis, load calculations, and ventilation systems, guiding a multidisciplinary team across processes, electrical, instrumentation, and safety disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional HVAC engineering experience.
• At least 5 years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or major industrial projects.
• FEED and EPC experience desirable.
• Offshore, GCC and PMC experience valued where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review HVAC design basis, specifications, load calculations, equipment sizing, data sheets, diagrams, layouts, details, control documents, I/O lists and power consumption lists.
• Perform HVAC load, air-side and hydronic calculations and verify equipment selection.
• Develop ventilation, pressurization, hazardous-area and smoke management solutions.
• Prepare requisitions, technical queries and Technical Bid Evaluations for HVAC equipment and bulk materials.
• Review vendor and subcontractor documents and coordinate technical comments.
• Coordinate with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil/Structural, Architectural, Safety and Construction disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, API, ISO and other applicable standards.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews and constructability reviews.
• Support FAT, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Review technical changes, deviations and clarifications
• Monitor assigned activities and report technical or schedule risks.
• Mentor engineers and designers when required.

ROLE SUMMARY

Minimum 10 years of professional HVAC engineering experience. At least 5 years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or major industrial projects is desirable. Proven FEED and EPC experience is desirable. Offshore, GCC and PMC experience will be valued where applicable. The Senior HVAC Engineer independently develops, coordinates and reviews HVAC engineering for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas facilities, industrial plants and energy projects. The role provides technical guidance to other team members and supports the HVAC Leader in delivering compliant, integrated and buildable solutions.
