Job summary

Job description

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes that support business growth and organizational effectiveness. The role will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and employee engagement across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all functions and levels.
  • Partner with department heads to identify manpower requirements and succession plans.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
  • Monitor hiring metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  • Manage onboarding and probation review processes.
  • Drive the annual performance appraisal process.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and performance objectives.
  • Monitor performance review completion and calibration.
  • Develop performance improvement plans where required.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Conduct employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Identify training and development needs across departments.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Develop leadership and succession planning initiatives.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and employee development plans.
  • Support salary benchmarking and annual compensation reviews.
  • Administer employee benefits and insurance programs.
  • Ensure payroll inputs are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Recommend competitive reward and recognition programs.
  • Maintain HR policies, employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage employment contracts, confirmations, transfers, and separations.
  • Prepare monthly HR dashboards and reports.
  • Monitor key HR metrics including:
  • Headcount
  • Attrition
  • Employee retention
  • Recruitment status
  • Training completion
  • Diversity metrics
  • Provide recommendations based on HR data and trends.
Qualification and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
  • 6–10 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience managing HR operations in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, trading, or distribution environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge and efficiency in use of AI tools for HR purpose
