Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Jalandhar (Pre-Opening) is seeking an HR Manager to nurture a positive work culture and enable the team to deliver memorable guest experiences. You will lead people initiatives, onboarding, and compliance for a 126-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites project along NH-1 corridor.

The role emphasizes culture, engagement, and excellence in service, with responsibilities spanning program development, surveys, onboarding, and records management for a pre-opening hotel.

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent English.
• High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent.
• 2 years’ related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create programmes to foster a positive work environment for every single employee.
• Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey.
• Welcome and orient new staff members.
• Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employee laws, policies and procedures.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jalandhar (Pre-Opening) is a contemporary hotel offering 126 well-appointed rooms, strategically located along the Grand Trunk Road (NH-1), the six-lane Delhi–Ludhiana–Jalandhar–Amritsar highway. The hotel benefits from excellent visibility and frontage on this key arterial route, with convenient access via the Jalandhar–Amritsar–Delhi corridor, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers. Guests can enjoy all-day dining at Express Café, featuring 70 covers, along with a range of wellness facilities including a swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa & salon. The hotel also offers flexible meeting and event space across multiple venues, making it well-suited for corporate meetings, training sessions, conferences, and social gatherings.
