IHG Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jalandhar (Pre-Opening), is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role focuses on team leadership, budget refinement, supplier management, and compliance with safety standards, while delivering memorable guest experiences during the pre-opening phase and beyond.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Business language and tools acumen.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in housekeeping or related field.
• Must speak local language(s).
• Brand-specific qualifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards.
• Maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment—minimising waste—in support of green initiatives.
• Refining and preparing budgets to maximise profitability.
• Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members.
• Assisting with deep cleaning projects and busy periods.
• Educating team on compliance with laws and safety standards.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jalandhar (Pre-Opening) is a contemporary hotel offering 126 well-appointed rooms, strategically located along the Grand Trunk Road (NH-1), the six-lane Delhi–Ludhiana–Jalandhar–Amritsar highway. The hotel benefits from excellent visibility and frontage on this key arterial route, with convenient access via the Jalandhar–Amritsar–Delhi corridor, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers. Guests can enjoy all-day dining at Express Café, featuring 70 covers, along with a range of wellness facilities including a swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa & salon. The hotel also offers flexible meeting and event space across multiple venues, making it well-suited for corporate meetings, training sessions, conferences, and social gatherings.

Every room has to be perfect. We’re searching for the right Housekeeping Manager to make sure our standards never slip – managing all aspects of our housekeeping and laundry operations to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences. With every single stay.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards


• Maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment – while minimising waste – in support of our green initiatives


• Helping to refine and prepare budgets that help us maximise profitability


• Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members


• Assisting with deep cleaning projects and occasionally assisting your team during busy periods


• Educating all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with federal, state, and local laws and safety standards

What We need from you

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal strong skills

• Bachelors Degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in hospitality or related field


• 3+ years total experience in a Housekeeping or related field


• Must speak local language(s)
