Job summary

BiteSpeed, a Sequoia-backed SaaS startup in Bengaluru, seeks an HR Operations professional to build an experience where people can do their best work without worrying about behind-the-scenes processes.

You will own HR operations across the employee lifecycle, coordinate onboarding/offboarding, and work with payroll, insurance and HR systems to keep records accurate and compliant as we scale.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HR processes from onboarding to offboarding.
• Knowledge of HR policies, documentation and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems.
• Ability to implement scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own HR operations across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, documentation, HRIS management and employee records.
• Ensure all HR processes, policies and documentation are accurate, compliant and completed on time.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth experience from day one to last day.
• Support payroll, leave management, insurance and other people operations by coordinating with stakeholders.
• Help manage employee letters, contracts, background verification and other HR documentation.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing HR processes through better systems, automation and documentation.

About the Role

As we've grown, we've realised that great HR Operations isn't about maintaining spreadsheets or chasing paperwork. It's about creating an experience where people can do the best work of their careers without having to worry about everything happening behind the scenes.

We're looking for someone who's excited to build that experience with us. This role is for someone who's organised without being rigid, dependable, and enjoys creating structure behind the scenes so the rest of the team can move faster. You'll work closely with our People team to ensure our HR processes run smoothly as we continue to scale.

What you'll do

• Own HR operations across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, documentation, HRIS management and employee records.

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing HR processes through better systems, automation and documentation as we continue to grow.
