Role Description

The Human Resources Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur, responsible for supporting and managing HR functions within a dynamic startup-focused environment. This role includes overseeing day-to-day HR operations such as maintaining employee records, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating payroll inputs, and supporting benefits administration. The Human Resources Executive will handle employee relations, address workplace concerns, and support performance management and engagement initiatives aligned with company values. The role also involves assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting hiring, recruitment coordination, and team scaling activities for internal teams and portfolio startups. Collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams to support a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture is central to this position.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) with experience in HR Management and HR Operations.
• Ability to manage Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, communication facilitation, and engagement initiatives.
• Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements, with capability to support policy development and implementation.
• Experience in recruitment support, hiring coordination, and basic talent acquisition processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with HRIS or HR software and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments is beneficial, along with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
