Job summary

MedPrime Technologies is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function and drive strategic HR initiatives. You will manage HR operations, payroll, statutory compliance, PMS, and employee relations while partnering with department heads on workforce planning and organizational development.

The role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end HR, recruitment, and policy implementation, with strong communication and leadership skills to build an engaged workforce in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5–8 years of HR experience with HR Manager/Lead exposure.
  • Strong experience in HR Operations and Strategic HR Management.
  • Hands-on with PF/ESIC/PT/MLWF/LWF/TDS and other statutory compliances.
  • Proven PMS and performance appraisal expertise.
  • Team management and stakeholder coordination experience.
  • Recruitment, payroll, employee engagement and employee relations proficiency.
  • Well-versed in labour laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing/healthcare/medical devices/tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HR team and day-to-day HR activities.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, SOPs, and processes.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and manpower planning with dept heads.
  • Administer monthly payroll, attendance, leaves, and payroll inputs.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Form 16).
  • Manage PMS including KRA/KPI setting, appraisals and PIPs.
  • Drive employee engagement through events, recognition and programs.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary matters and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR regulations, and policies.
  • Oversee POSH activities and documentation.
  • Prepare HR MIS and dashboards covering key metrics.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate Learning & Development.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage exit formalities.
  • Partner with management on workforce planning and org dev.

Job description

Job Overview:

MedPrime Technologiesis looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and manage the overall HR function. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in strategic HR, HR operations, team management, talent acquisition, payroll, statutory compliance, PMS, employee engagement, and employee relations.

The candidate will be responsible for driving HR initiatives aligned with business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the HR team and oversee day-to-day HR activities.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, SOPs, and processes aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to confirmation, performance management, and exit.
  • Handle end-to-end talent acquisition and manpower planning in coordination with department heads.
  • Oversee monthly payroll, attendance, leave, salary revisions, incentives, deductions, and payroll inputs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF/LWF, TDS, Form 16, and other applicable requirements.
  • Manage the complete Performance Management System (PMS), including KRA/KPI setting, performance reviews, appraisals, increments, promotions, and PIPs.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives including festival celebrations, team outings, employee recognition, team-building activities, and other engagement programs.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, HR regulations, company policies, and workplace requirements.
  • Manage POSH-related activities and ensure awareness and documentation requirements are completed.
  • Prepare and analyze HR MIS and dashboards covering headcount, attrition, recruitment, attendance, payroll, performance, and employee engagement.
  • Identify training and development requirements and coordinate Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends to support employee retention initiatives.
    Coordinate Full & Final Settlement, clearance, relieving letters, experience letters, and other exit formalities.
  • Partner with management and department heads on workforce planning, organizational development, employee retention, and strategic people initiatives.
  • Continuously improve HR processes to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree/MBA in HR will be an added advantage.
  • 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, including prior experience in an HR Manager/HR Lead role.
  • Strong experience in HR Operations and Strategic HR Management.
  • Hands-on experience in PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF/LWF, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing the complete PMS and Performance Appraisal process.
  • Proven experience in team management and stakeholder management.
  • Strong exposure to recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, employee relations, and HR policies.
  • Good understanding of applicable labour laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle HR data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, healthcare, medical device, or technology organization will be an added advantage.
