Job summary

Antara Jewellery Pvt Ltd in Mumbai is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to Retail/Jewellery sectors. Female candidates only. You will manage onboarding, attendance, records and HR policies to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably generalist/HR operations.
• Experience in Retail, Jewellery, Apparel, or QSR industries preferred.
• Demonstrated stability with 2+ years in prior roles.
• Strong understanding of payroll, attendance, leave management and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on with HRMS software and excellent recruitment lifecycle knowledge.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding and induction.
• Oversee onboarding and induction processes for smooth joining.
• Oversee payroll processing, attendance management, and leave records.
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT and labour regulations.
• Develop and update HR policies and processes as required.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Collaborate with management on HR-related matters.
• Utilise HRMS software for data, attendance, leave, payroll and other HR processes.
• Support employee relations, grievances and HR operations.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR professional to manage and oversee the complete HR function of the organisation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience across recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll, compliance, HR policies, and employee engagement.

Candidates with experience in Retail, Jewellery, Apparel, or QSR industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, onboarding, and induction.
• Manage employee onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth joining experience.
• Oversee payroll processing, attendance management, and leave records.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with applicable statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, PT, and other labour compliances.
• Develop, implement, and periodically update HR policies and processes in line with organisational requirements and applicable regulations.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and activities to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
• Manage employee records and HR documentation effectively.
• Work closely with management and business teams on various HR-related matters.
• Utilise and manage HRMS software for employee data, attendance, leave, payroll, and other HR processes.
• Support employee relations, grievance handling, and overall HR operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably in a generalist/HR operations role.
• Experience in Retail, Jewellery, Apparel, or QSR industries will be preferred.
• Candidates should demonstrate stability in previous organisations, with at least 2 years of tenure in previous roles/organisations.
• Strong understanding of payroll, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on experience with HRMS software.
• Good knowledge of recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage HR operations and work in a fast-paced environment.
