Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Prepare annual HR plans, manpower budgets, and organizational manpower requirements.
- Advise management on HR-related matters, organizational structure, and people strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems.
2. Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate and senior-level positions.
- Develop effective recruitment channels and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
- Coordinate with business/function heads for manpower requirements and selection.
- Ensure timely onboarding and smooth induction of new employees.
3. Performance Management
- Manage the annual performance appraisal and review process.
- Coordinate goal setting, KRAs/KPIs, performance reviews, and increments.
- Support managers in performance evaluation and improvement plans.
- Develop systems for identifying and retaining high-performing employees.
4. HR Policies & Processes
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Standardize HR processes across departments and locations.
- Ensure effective implementation of company policies.
- Maintain employee handbook and HR documentation.
5. Employee Engagement & Employee Relations
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Promote a positive and professional workplace culture.
- Handle employee grievances and resolve workplace issues effectively.
- Conduct employee feedback/satisfaction surveys and recommend improvement measures.
- Support management in employee retention initiatives.
6. Learning & Development
- Identify organizational and individual training needs.
- Prepare and monitor the annual Learning & Development plan.
- Coordinate leadership development, functional, behavioural, and compliance-related training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
7. HR MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare regular HR dashboards and MIS for senior management.
- Monitor headcount, attrition, recruitment status, absenteeism, training, and performance data.
- Analyse HR trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
8. Compensation & Benefits
- Coordinate salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
- Support annual increment and promotion processes.
- Review employee benefits and welfare programs.
- Coordinate with payroll/accounts teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
9. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure corporate HR practices comply with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external consultants and relevant departments for statutory compliance.
- Support internal and external HR audits.
- Maintain appropriate HR records and documentation.
10. Organizational Development
- Support organizational restructuring and change-management initiatives.
- Develop succession planning and talent management processes.
- Identify critical positions and develop talent pipelines.
- Promote leadership development and a performance-driven culture.
Required Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources / Personnel Management or equivalent.
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Experience
- 6-12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
- Candidates with experience in handling multiple locations/business functions will be preferred.
