Job summary

Caspian Supply Chain Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru (Bidadi) seeks an experienced Manager/Assistant Manager HR & Admin to oversee HR and administrative operations for a large warehouse workforce of around 200 crew.

The role requires hands-on bulk recruitment, manpower management, vendor coordination, employee relations, onboarding, payroll input support and strict adherence to HR policies and labour laws. Travel to other locations may be required as needed.

Qualifications

About the Role

Caspian Supply Chain Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Manager / Assistant Manager HR & Admin to manage HR and administrative operations for our warehouse facility at Bidadi, Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in bulk recruitment, manpower management, vendor management, employee relations, onboarding, HR compliance and policy implementation, preferably within the FMCG warehouse, logistics or supply chain industry.

The position will be responsible for managing HR operations for approximately 200 warehouse employees/crew and ensuring smooth workforce deployment and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR & Administration operations at the warehouse.
• Handle bulk recruitment and manpower sourcing for warehouse operations.
• Manage recruitment, screening, selection, documentation and employee onboarding.
• Coordinate with manpower/staffing vendors and ensure timely deployment of required manpower.
• Manage vendor performance, attendance, manpower availability and service-related issues.
• Handle Employee Relations (ER) and resolve employee grievances effectively.
• Manage disciplinary matters, absenteeism, attrition and employee engagement.
• Maintain proper employee records, HR documentation and personnel files.
• Ensure effective implementation of company HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate with operations teams for manpower planning and workforce requirements.
• Manage attendance, leave, shift allocation and manpower deployment in coordination with warehouse operations.
• Handle HR-related MIS and prepare regular reports for management.
• Support payroll inputs, attendance validation and other HR operational activities.
• Manage and lead HR/Admin activities for a workforce of around 200 warehouse crew.
• Conduct employee engagement activities, induction and awareness sessions.
• Coordinate with management and warehouse operations for smooth employee lifecycle management.
• Travel to other locations/depot/warehouse facilities whenever required for business and HR activities.
• Lead and manage the HR/Admin team at the warehouse.

Language Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in Kannada and Hindi are mandatory/preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
• Malayalam-speaking candidates will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

• 10-12 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in FMCG, warehouse, logistics, 3PL or supply chain operations.
• Candidates with strong blue-collar workforce management experience will be preferred.
• Candidates from Kerala with good Kannada and Hindi communication skills are preferred.
• Should be comfortable working closely with warehouse/operations teams.
• Should have the maturity and capability to independently manage HR operations for approximately 200 warehouse employees.
