Job summary

Abacus Consultants is seeking a Recruitment Lead in Pune, Maharashtra to translate headcount plans into robust recruitment strategies, source candidates, manage time-to-fill, negotiate offers, and onboard new hires. You will collaborate with management and external partners to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective hires.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to manage both entry-level and leadership recruiting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in sourcing and pipeline management.
• Strong negotiation and joining discussions.
• Experience conducting telephonic interviews and screening.

Responsibilities

• Define the resourcing strategy and set hiring priorities for the business.
• Translate headcount plans into concrete recruitment plans and targets.
• Lead hiring for corporate roles across levels, from entry to leadership.
• Develop relationships with management, candidates, and sourcing partners.
• Balance internal and external sources to optimize hiring costs.
• Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and conduct telephonic interviews.

Role & responsibilities

Key Deliverables

• Define Resourcing Strategy and deliver key priorities for the business e.g. Quality of Hiring, Employer Branding, Sourcing Strategy.
• Translating the headcount plan into clear job requirements and definition of recruitment plan to ensure timely delivery. Accountable for Recruitment targets and alignment to the resourcing model.
• Managing Hiring for corporate positions. (Both Entry Level & Leadership positions)
• Individual Contribution Role.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with various levels of management, candidates, and external recruiting sources.
• Maintaining the balance of internal & external sources in order to optimize costs
• Screening / Short listing of resumes & Conducting Telephonic Interviews.
• Compensation negotiation and joining a discussion.
• Managing Joining formalities and documentation.
• Closing positions within the defined turnaround time and as per defined requirements. Maintaining good offer to joining ratio.
